PROJECT LANDSCAPE DESIGNER: Family retreat integrating locally harvested stone and native plant materials (2008) with Hershberger Design, Jackson Hole, Wyoming
PROJECT LANDSCAPE DESIGNER, FACILITATOR, DESIGN DIRECTION: The Smith family provided a donation to Teton County Pathways in Jackson, Wyoming, for the creation of a memorial to commemorate the life of their son, Alex. While employed at Hershberger Design, I was honored to provide pro-bono services for the design, construction documents, and construction observation for the memorial, which includes a shade structure, signage, seating, and specialty paving. We enlisted the help of YARD Art to create cast bronze hand prints which were embedded in the entry walkway. This offered family and friends a way to become part of the process and allowed them a very personal and lasting gesture in the commemoration. (2006) with Hershberger Design, Jackson Hole, Wyoming
